TACL is working on multiple projects to facilitate the upcoming April 2010 Census. As a community based organization, TACL is dependent on grants and donations for many of its functions. If you would like to contribute financially to our efforts, your gifts would be greatly appreciated. TACL is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization run completely by un-paid volunteers, and puts on significant programs every year that require financial support. Taiwanese Census 2010 Campaign projects include an informational public service announcement (PSA) to be distributed. Funds are needed to help with promotional material distributions, and production and broadcasting of the PSA. Please help donate to support these costs.

Upcoming events will require people to help promote and educate people about the Census. Contact the TACL Census Office via the above contact information if interested in helping.

Here are other things that YOU can do!

• read the key bullet points on why this is important under the Home or Resources sections.
• forward website link and videos on to friends/family (census2010.tacl.org).
• promote the PSA (www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcFLfw73O30).
• Twitter the message out.
• post on your Facebook, change your profile picture to this picture (right-click on the image and Save Picture/Image As):
  
• join the census Facebook group and cause.
• donate $20 or $50 or $100 to support broadcasting costs (with push of button/paypal)
• contacting one of our census coordinators to volunteer to be a local outreach person with specific duties to 1) print out flyers (click here for the flyer) 2) distribute posters (click here for the poster) or flyers at certain location of their choosing i.e. local church, Taiwanese restaurant, grocery. E-mail census2010@tacl.org to be in touch with a local Census coordinator.
• contact their local ethnic channel (and have :30 spot DVD ready to mail) for broadcasting (can be funded by their local groups)
• recruit your friends or organizations to do the above!
